Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Wine Rhapsody, RUT (Chilean tax ID) ##.###.###-#, with registered address at Tu domicilio, comuna, Santiago. For any question about your data, write to us at reservas@winerhapsody.com.

2. What data we collect

• When you book: name, email address, phone number, number of attendees, language and, if you provide them, your group’s allergies or dietary restrictions.
• When you pay: Mercado Pago informs us of the status and amount of the payment. We do not receive or store your card details.
• When you contact us or ask to be notified: name, email, phone or WhatsApp (optional), reason and message.
• When you browse: technical data needed for the website to work and to protect it from abuse, such as your IP address (which we store encrypted to limit repeated submissions) and the cookies described in section 8.

3. What we use it for

• To manage your booking, confirm the experience, and send you the payment link and practical information (meeting point, schedule, recommendations).
• To adapt the menu to the allergies and restrictions you indicate.
• To answer your questions and let you know when the experience you were interested in opens.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations, and to handle complaints.
• To protect the website against spam and fraudulent use.

We do not sell your data or use it to make automated decisions about you. We will only send you news or promotions if you give us your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to perform the contract for the experience you book, to comply with legal obligations and, where applicable, with your consent. Data about allergies or dietary restrictions may be considered health data, which the law treats as sensitive data: we only use it with your express consent, which you give by providing it in the form, and solely to adapt your menu and keep you safe.

5. Who we share it with

• Wineries, kitchen and sommeliers of the experience: only attendees’ names and their allergies or restrictions, to prepare the experience.
• Transportation company: the names and contact phone number of those using the transportation.
• Mercado Pago: name, email and amount, to process the payment.
• Technology providers that provide us with hosting and email services, and Cloudflare (anti-bot verification), which may only use the data to provide those services to us.
• Authorities, when required by law.

Some of these providers may store data outside Chile. In that case, we require them to apply adequate security measures.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment data for as long as needed for the experience and then for the periods required by tax law and to handle any complaints. We delete data on allergies and dietary restrictions within 90 days after the experience. Contact messages and notification requests are deleted when they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask us.

7. Your rights

You may at any time request to access your data, rectify it, delete it or object to its processing, in accordance with Law No. 19,628 (Ley N° 19.628). Once Law No. 21,719 (Ley N° 21.719) comes into force, you will also be able to request the portability of your data and the temporary blocking of its processing. To do so, write to us at reservas@winerhapsody.com from the email address you used when booking. We will respond within the legal deadlines. If you are not satisfied, you may turn to the competent authority.

8. Cookies

We only use the cookies necessary for the website to work:

• Session (wrsess): keeps forms secure. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• Language (wr_lang): remembers the language you chose for one year.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: verifies that whoever submits a form is not a bot.

The website’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Admin panel passwords are stored encrypted, and access to data is restricted to the Wine Rhapsody team. No system is completely infallible; if an incident affecting your data occurs, we will inform you as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on the website, with its last-updated date. If the change is significant, we will inform you by email.
